A beautiful place in a beautiful location. Peter and Georgia were excellent hosts, making sure we knew all the attractions and delights of the region. Our room was spacious and delightfully furnished with period details. The breakfast provisions were also excellent and much appreciated, particularly the homemade loaf of warm bread that greeted our arrival.
Excellent breakfast. Located in a lovely neighborhood.
It was beautifully presented to suit the era of the property and Georgia and Peter were very helpful in letting us know all the things to do in and around Deloraine. The freshly baked bread on arrival and ample breakfast provisions was a real surprise and certainly not something many properties provide.
We loved everything about our stay, a beautiful comfortable little piece of paradise
We loved our stay ,very hospitable welcoming staff and atmosphere. Everything was fantastic, loved every minute
Great place with everything one wants for their stay. Farm fresh food and great hospitality. Nice cottage with history and great hosts. Would stay again
Enjoyed hearing about the history of the villa, well equipped kitchen, very welcoming with fresh bread on arrival
Lovely heritage building and gardens.friendly hosts ,made fresh bread for us to have withbreakfast provisions
Georgia and Peter were wonderful hosts and the little extra additions they add into your stay make it very special and worth the stay. The furnishings were extraordinary and the beds very comfortable, we were able to visit quite a few destinations while there (with the information from Georgia) and found Deloraine to be a very nice country community.
It was very private, it was so nice to be welcomed with a warm loaf of bread & other complimentary food in fridge plus port & 2 chocolates!Owners were so helpful in suggesting walks in surrounding area & Woolworths was around the corner if you needed some food & down the hill was the river for walks.
Beautifully decorated and furnished (even in the bathroom!) in keeping with the historic background, but all the appliances etc were like new. It was originally built by an ex-convict but has been done up over the years - seemed like recent renovations too. Georgia and Peter were very hospitable and helpful - they even checked our arrival time so as to have freshly baked sourdough waiting for us! The included breakfast included a whole range of tasty things, and there was enough to cover lunch as well!
The stay at Quamby Cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed for an independent stay. The hosts (Georgia and Peter) were particularly welcoming and helpful with the fresh bread and cheese board when we arrived a highlight. Beautiful views towards Quamby Bluff from the kitchen and bedroom windows. The accommodation is close enough to many hiking trails including Walls of Jerusalem and Cradle Mountain for day hikes. It was a good way to explore the surrounding region.
Friendly hosts Georgia and Peter, good location and generous treats
Well maintained heritage buildings set in beautiful gardens. A quiet area with easy access to the shops & Meander River walk. Great location from which to explore northern Tasmania
Friendly hosts. Great location in lovely town. Heritage rooms.
The freshly baked bread was a real bonus. Our host Georgia was delightful, informative and very welcoming.
Always stay at Blake’s. I feel like a travelling extended family member
Friendly and hospitable hosts, Peter and Georgia
The location was perfect. Walking distance to Main Street, pubs, cafes. Wonderful hosts who do everything themselves- and it shows! Attention to detail second to none, from the garden to the bathroom.
The breakfast was just delicious, and so unexpected. The fresh baked bread was divine, and so welcome. We loved it all,
The welcome was exceptional - friendly and informative. Our hosts were very generous with provisions left for us which we appreciated greatly the next morning before a big drive. A great place to stay!
Great location and pleasant hosts.
The room was spacious and luxurious, the service was impeccable.
Beautifully restored heritage accommodation with little touches to add comfort and homeliness. Fresh baked warm bread both smelt wonderful and tasted delicious. Generous provisions supplied including port , chocolate, eggs bacon, homemade strawberry jam butter and really good plunger coffee. Hosts were genuine, warm and helpful in providing maps and information on activities to enjoy.
Lovely historical Manor home close to the town centre of pretty Deloraine. We really appreciated the extra touches( freshly baked bread on arrival, cheese platter, port and chocolates and breakfast supplies) that made this a memorable stay The bed was super comfortable and the electric blankets were much appreciated as it was very cold during our stay.
